Reverification Mail Processor

GENERAL SUMMARY

The QC Loan Mail Processor’s responsibilities include work pertaining to certain mortgage loan documents and the processing of these documents to fulfill the final steps in the loan file life cycle.  More specifically the Reverification Mail Processor will perform tasks related to the returned reverification mail.  A minimum of one year recent mortgage experience preferred.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Open returned mail daily, maintain daily log of number of pieces mail received daily, weekly monthly
  • Sort mail by response type, agree, and disagree, other.  Scan and upload agree mail to the client facing website.  Submit disagree mail to supervisor for review and instruction – when true disagree is uploaded to client facing website, email PDF copy to supervisor for further attention
  • Research undeliverable mail to determine if there is a better address in the file, attempt on line search for better address and reload the revised letter into the client facing website and mail out revised reverification package.  When no better address is available upload returned mail to client facing website with a status and email copy to supervisor for further attention
  • Maintain E-Fax folder – uploaded faxed responses into the system, forward any disagree to supervisor as noted in disagree process above
  • Maintain the Bank Fee Sheet
  • Complete reverification form letters and input information into client facing website
  • Follow up phone calls to Reverification Recipients on a daily basis
  • Special projects as necessary
  • Complete other duties as required, including, but not limited to:
    • Coming to work and being punctual
    • interrelating with fellow employees and/or customers as needed to get the job done
    • Overtime may be required
    • Participate in the training of new personnel to ensure consistency and accuracy of reverifications
    • Mentor and assist other team members as requested

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum of one year recent mortgage experience preferred
