Product Marketing Manager

Manager of product marketing is a key position on the LoanLogics marketing team. This individual should possess product marketing skills and marketing experience in the mortgage industry. They should have a strong aptitude for understanding software applications and how they address mortgage industry needs. Examples of successful campaigns that have been executed with demonstrated communications and writing skills are a requirement. Individual should have experience in leading cross-functional teams and achieving measurable unit and revenue goals in the execution of marketing campaigns. Individual will work closely with the Product Management team and should possess the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into clear and differentiated messaging that articulates the benefits of the product to the targeted buyer and their buying criteria. Individual will also work closely with sales, developing sales tools, collateral and presentation materials that reduce time to close and increase close rates. This position reports to the SVP of Marketing.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Messaging – develop product positioning and messaging that articulates the differentiation of LoanLogics products in the market.
  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the product through sales tools that support the solution selling sales model.
  • Product launch – support the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the marketing plan.
  • Market intelligence – become the expert on target market buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; become expert on key competitors and develop programs to attract/acquire their clients.
  • Demand generation – develop the strategy and direct response offers that move prospects from awareness to interest to consideration to sale through effective marketing campaigns.
  • Cross-sell – develop communications deliverables and webinars to educate LoanLogics clients on our capabilities and drive demand for cross-sell opportunity.
  • Case studies – work closely with sales organization to identify reference-able clients for the development of case studies and testimonials.
  • Database marketing – develop and expand contacts in support of segmentation that enables targeted product campaigns.

 

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED / EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE                                          

  • 5+ years of software product marketing experience with at least 2 years of experience in the mortgage industry.
  • Bachelor’s in business or marketing, MBA preferred.
  • Strong written communication skills (please provide examples).
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record in product marketing role.
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Aptitude and experience in the use of email marketing and marketing automation tools.
